Hotkeys
You are at your keyboard and busy typing something, but when you touch the mouse you lose time. These few, but valuable seconds may in total turn into minutes and then into hours that you could have spent on updating inventory and other important online shop handling tasks.
If you like the idea of laying your mouse still and controlling your Magento-based website completely using the keyboard, Store Manager for Magento offers an easier and quicker method of navigating through the sections of your store using hotkeys.
What is Hotkey?
A hotkey is a key or a combination of keys on a keyboard that, when pressed at one time, performs a task more quickly than by using a mouse or other input device. Hotkeys are sometimes called shortcut keyboard keys.
How Hotkeys Can Be Useful for Faster Data Management?
Similar to Windows, Store Manager has a range of predefined keyboard shortcuts that save time and effort by evoking commands in the software that are calling out different sections and functions of the application. Now you don't need to go through numerous menus to access products, customers, order lists, create new orders, do backups, etc.
This way you can to some extent speed up tedious and repetitive tasks. By the way, no programming skills are needed. You have just to keep a good reference of these shortcut keys or try to memorize them. Doing so will dramatically increase your productivity.
