7.2.2. Custom SQL Linked to Products Import
You may use SQL commands in Product Import within the "Custom SQL" interface section.
In the "Import Options" dialog, select the field(s) (buttons and check boxes) relevant to the SQL queries that are to be performed.
To create a new SQL statement, press the [Add New SQL] button, which opens the "Custom SQL Editor" form:
The form is identical to the choices in the Custom SQL section of Store Manager. It contains three tabs: "Edit", "Results" and "Logs".
The "Edit" tab allows to enter relevant SQL Statements manually, or, you may launch Visual Query Builder, to facilitate interactive entering of commands. After checking the "Execute SQL" option, be sure to check the results within the tab. If there are any resulting errors, open the "Logs" tab, to preview them.
Click [OK], to store the created query and to exit the "Editor" form.
The [Customize Parameters] button allows to modify previously created SQL Statement:
