6.6. Import Orders (Professional and Enterprise Editions)

Introduction to Order Import
Store Manager for Magento offers two options for importing orders:
Orders migration preserving order IDs and numbers (existing orders are overwritten).
General import (orders from the file are added to the existing ones).
Supported data sources include:
Local file in .csv format
FTP
HTTP URL to the file
Google Sheets
Order Import Wizard provides a simple interface to specify the configuration parameters, data sources, and fields mappings.
Orders Import Process
Order Import Wizard can be accessed from the side menu, a toolbar in the Orders section, or context menu:
Select import source and select the file:
Use Configuration - this option allows you to load import settings from the previously saved import configuration file.
Select delimiters used in your import file. With the correct delimiters specified, the import data will look like a table in the preview:
If the import file contains field names in the first row, such as Order_ID , State, Coupon_code etc.:
mark with the tick the following lower field:
Click [Next] to proceed.
Select store view to import orders to. If order details are different for each store view, select the checkboxes from a list to update.
In most cases you need the "Default store view" field to be checked.
Base formats. This window shows date and time separators. Leave these fields as default.
Select an import option and map fields.
Store Manager for Magento offers two types of import:

With the option "Migrate Orders ID and Numbers" selected, all existing orders will be overwritten with data from the import file.
If you get a warning about the possible incompatibility of data being imported, that is importing from the outdated version of shopping cart.
If your version of the Magento shopping cart is updated, the following message won't display.
For General Import, select order identification method in the drop-down list:
"Increment ID"
"Order ID"
Note: In the Enterprise Edition of Store Manager for Magento, there will be customer details displayed. If you check this field, you should specify the customer data identifier as well :
Important, if you select "Import customer data" in Professional Edition and import orders related to the customers that are not existing in the "Customers" section of Store Manager (such customers are not created), the order details will be added but nonexisting customers will not be imported to the Customers list!
Assign columns from the file to the relevant fields in your store database.
The fields with the assignment will be imported only! Use expression formula to modify imported details:
If you need more information or any help during expression creating, click the [Help] button or press [F1] on your keyboard.
Take a note, fields related to the orders comments can be linked and imported since the last program update (starting from ver.3.9.0:2017):
Note!
Starting from the updated version of Store Manager for Magento (v.3.16.0.:2231) you can see a message on the compatibility of the old versions of the Magento with the new ones, namely about the issues with some fields of the order importing details.
Recommendation: contact our support center to get qualified assistance during the import orders process.
On the "Preview Import" step, you can see the tabular data which will be transferred. You can narrow down the scale of importing, indicating the rows number of starting / ending.
Move to the last step of the wizard, where you can make the final preparation to the main process, i.e. shutdown computer once the import is completed, cache import data, save the import configuration file to the wizard directly.
You can also save the import configuration to a separate file, or remove the configuration from a list.
To start import, press the [Import] button. In the result window, you can see the report on executed procedure.
Hit [Finish] to exit from the wizard.
